They do it all!

  • What is “Cystic Fibrosis” and how does it affect a patient's life?
  • Who is Bryan Warnecke? What is his dream? How did he come to take part in this video? Why did he take part in the video? This link might give you some useful information
  • Make a good Spanish translation of the lyrics.

Hope when you take that jump, you don't fear the fall
Hope when the water rises, you built a wall
Hope when the crowd screams out, they're screaming your name
Hope if everybody runs, you choose to stay
Hope that you fall in love, and it hurts so bad
The only way you can know is give it all you have
And I hope that you don't suffer but take the pain
Hope when the moment comes, you'll say

I, I did it all
I, I did it all
I owned every second that this world could give
I saw so many places, the things that I did
With every broken bone, I swear I lived
Hope that you spend your days, but they all add up
And when that sun goes down, hope you raise your cup
Oh, I wish that I could witness all your joy and all your pain
But until my moment comes, I'll say

Now … let’s sing the song!

Don’t you want to ...
 learn languages?
Visit other countries
Meet different people?
Really?
Then, should you meet a monster! …
Run !
There is no alternative!

We learn languages and we get to know other people.
Let us use the languages we learn so that we can talk about a very special city.
Using an old song in a modern version.
Let us talk about Paris
Tossed but not sunk!

Arrange yourselves into six groups and take four lines from the song’s English lyrics and:
  • Compare our lyrics with the ones in the video and mark the differences
  • Translate them to build an impressive Spanish version

Under the Parisian Sky

Under the Paris sky flies a melody
It was born of today in the heart of a boy
Under the Paris sky Lovers walk
Their happiness is built on a tune made for them
Under the Bercy Bridge a philosopher sits,
Two musicians, a few strollers, then people by the thousands
Under the Paris sky they sing until evening
A lovers' hymn of the old city
Near Notre Dame occasional tragedies are played out
Yes but in Paname all can be fixed:
Some rays of a summer sun, the accordion of a seaman,

Hope flourishes in the Paris sky
Under the Paris sky flows a river of joy,
it sleeps in the night tramps and beggars
Under the Paris sky God's creatures
come from around the world to chat with each other
And the Paris Sky has its own secret
For twenty centuries it has been in love with our Ile Saint Louis;
And when it smiles at the sky it puts on its blue robe
When it rains on Paris it's because it's unhappy
When it's too jealous of the millions of lovers
It growls at us with resounding thunder
But the sky of Paris is not long cruel
And to apologize it offers a rainbow
